Music is highly influential to all ages to people with all experiences. It can make people feel all sorts of emotions and change their opinions and thoughts. But how does it affect teenagers specifically? Is music really good for them?

“I couldn’t possibly find a bad word to say about music for youth culture.”

Well I’m only speaking from my own experiences and from what I’ve heard from others, but I couldn’t possibly find a bad word to say about music for youth culture. I’ve come across a lot of people that find refuge in their music when they find themselves in dark patches in their lives. Even when people are quite happy in their lives they find music lifts that further. I personally love to find music that compliments my feelings and sometimes has the opposite feel to them, for example, if I’m having a bad nothing makes me feel better than finding a happy, uplifting song to make me feel better. I’m sure most people will agree that these days teenagers struggle a lot in their teenage years regardless of their experiences and intelligence, no one has it easy. In my opinion, most people my age use music to find other people that feel like them and often helps them make friends. Music may be one way in itself to help people get through things, but it also helps people find others that can also help. Music is extremely important for youth culture as it often sets their social class and allows them easily accessible support through the younger years.
