With waves of supporters rallying behind him, Stormzy announces the release of his second album: 'Heavy Is The Head'.

On the 19th November, rap legend Stormzy blessed the world with the announcement of his second album: 'Heavy Is The Head', due to release on 13th December 2019. In April this year, he gifted 'Vossi Bop' from his upcoming album, which was met with mass support and appreciation. The song broke the record for the biggest week one streams for a British Rapper, with streams reaching 12.7 million and sales totalling at 94,495. Is it a surprise that one of the TIME Magazine's 'Next Generation Leaders' received so much praise? As one of the UK's most inspiring cultural figures, Stormzy has preached great levels of black empowerment and social activism. Just this year at Glastonbury Festival, he took the opportunity to highlight injustices such as young black children being criminalised in a biased and disproportionate justice system. Following this theme, Stormzy recently celebrated the second year of his 'Stormzy Scholarship' - a studentship which funds the education of 2 black students every year at Cambridge University. So it's no wonder that the release of his single, 'Vossi Bop', and the announcement of his second album, 'Heavy Is The Head', is met with great support.
